Johan completed his surveying degree from the University of Cape Town in 2012 and built a solid career in the surveying industry in South Africa.  In November 2024, he joined Surveying the Bay after relocating to New Zealand to continue his professional journey.

When he’s not out on site, you’ll likely find Johan enjoying the great outdoors — whether it’s fishing, cycling, or simply soaking up the region’s coastal lifestyle.
