Survey Information

a. Modern Metric Plan:
Modern survey plans held as part of the cadastre (the land record) by Land Information New Zealand provide the basis for new survey work to be undertaken. This example is a Land Transfer Plan completed in 2010 which shows lot areas, easements and boundary information.

b. Colour Imperial Survey Plan:
Earlier survey plans were much prettier (and easier to follow) because of their colours and expert draughting techniques.
